Same-Sex Wedding Photographer in
Boston & New England

Planning a same-sex wedding in Boston or New england?

If you're planning a same-sex wedding in Boston or anywhere in New England, you deserve a photographer who will take the time to get to know you, understand what matters most to you, and create photographs that reflect your relationship honestly and authentically.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of photographing a number of same-sex weddings throughout New England. Like any wedding, each celebration has reflected the personalities, relationships, and priorities of the couple at its center. The moments that stand out most aren't defined by labels or traditions, but by genuine connection, meaningful relationships, and the people who matter most.

Whether you're planning a waterfront wedding in Boston, a vineyard celebration, a backyard gathering, or something entirely your own, my goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable, be fully present, and walk away with beautiful photographs that feel like you.

Real same-sex weddings I've photographed

Below are a few same-sex weddings I've photographed throughout Boston and New England. Every couple brought their own personalities, traditions, and priorities to the day, which is one of the many reasons I love photographing weddings.

"Hiring Randall as our photographer was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. His photographs are beautiful, and we love his style. He was also a very easygoing, calm presence during a stressful day. Randall has given us photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives, and we’re so grateful."

Every Wedding Is Different. That's What Makes It Meaningful.

One of the things I've learned after photographing hundreds of weddings is that there isn't a single "right" way to celebrate.

Some couples choose to follow long-standing traditions. Others create entirely new ones. Some walk down the aisle together. Some have a first look. Some get ready separately. Some spend the entire morning together.

The beauty of a wedding day is that it should reflect who you are, not what anyone else expects it to be.

My role as a photographer isn't to fit your wedding into a template. It's to understand what's important to you and document those moments in a way that feels genuine and natural.

One thing I particularly appreciate about photographing same-sex weddings is that they often encourage everyone to think less about expectations and more about what truly matters.

Rather than assuming how a wedding day should unfold, I focus on getting to know each couple individually. What moments are most important to you? Which relationships matter most? What are you excited about? What are you nervous about?

Those conversations help create photographs that feel personal because they're built around your story, not a standard wedding checklist.

A Photography Experience Built Around People,
Not Assumptions

Choosing a Same-Sex Wedding Photographer

You don't need a photographer who checks a marketing box.

You need someone whose work you love and whose presence makes you feel comfortable.

When looking for a same-sex wedding photographer in Boston or anywhere in New England, consider:

The right photographer should help you feel like yourself.

  • Do you connect with their photography style?
  • Do they make you feel seen and respected?
  • Do they listen more than they talk?
  • Can they help you feel comfortable in front of the camera?
  • Do they have experience adapting to different wedding traditions and timelines?
  • Can you imagine spending most of your wedding day with them?
