Born in a suburb of Boston in 1978, Randall Garnick was an unlikely canidate for a creative path. If it were not for a few saturday morning tv shows that showcased sketching and drawing, he might have never done anything creative. Seeing him take snapshots as a child was common but It wasn’t until later at Boston College, were he found a true passion in art and photography. Randall furthered his photographic knowledge at The New England School of Photography and MassArt. He has studied with John Sexton, Ray McSavaney and with Nick Johnson at the New England School of Photography where he also was a teaching assistant. His artistic aspirations have led him to photograph in many locations of the United States, some of which include: Canyon de Chelly, Arizona; Petrified National Forest, Arizona; Monument Valley, Utah; Arcadia National Park, Maine; The Shawangunk Mountain Range, New York; The White Mountains, New Hampshire; Canyonlands National Park in Utah; Bryce Canyon in Utah; Yosemite National park, CA; Death Valley National Park and many locations along the California coastline.
